WSS is governed by its Board of Trustees. The Board makes decisions about our strategic direction and is ultimately responsible for the management and conduct of the charity.
We welcome Ashkan to our Board of Trustees. He is a project delivery specialist with over 16 years of experience within consultancy firms with a strong depth of experience leading and developing high-performing, inclusive, collaborative and multi-disciplinary teams.
Ashkan is currently working as an Associate Director for a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy and is responsible for leading and managing the team whilst developing and implementing effective business strategies, and achieving continued growth.
He has previously volunteered as a Technical Advisor for Engineers Without Borders in Nigeria working alongside a Community Based Organisation, developing rural infrastructure and habitats.
Dr Riti Sharma is a GP with a strong interest in workplace health promotion and occupational medicine. Passionate about serving the local community, she works closely with all to support both their wellbeing and mental health, with a particular focus on rehabilitation and helping individuals return to meaningful employment.
With a background in primary care and a commitment to holistic practice, Riti brings a valuable perspective to workforce reintegration. She combines clinical and leadership skills to advocate for inclusive, proactive approaches that improve long-term outcomes for individuals and communities alike.
As a charity trustee, Riti is dedicated to supporting initiatives that empower adults through better health, education, and access to sustainable work.
Sarah is a linguist and horticulturist MBA, Mental Health First Aider, with responsibility for marketing & fundraising. She is the founder of Garden Revamp Company which provides volunteer and work opportunities for people who have been suffering from health issues. She offers horticultural therapy, teamwork, fresh air, and a much-needed garden improvement service in North Surrey.
